The 46' Voyager Houseboat is a scaled
down version of the larger Adventure class boats built
by Myacht expressly for Lake Powell. These boats sleep
8 and feature dual-power, a galley loaded with appliances
and of course a wet slide for kids of all ages. Like
their bigger cousins, they are designed for year 'round
use with central heating for Spring and Fall and A/C
cooler for the heat of summer. Below are approximate
rates for the 2007 season.
These
boats are available at both Wahweap and Bullfrog Marinas
with Bullfrog also offering the upgraded 46' Voyager
XL. It has A/C, GPS,
depth finder, TV/VCR/DVD, rear deck camera and 3 queen-size
mattresses for sleeping on the upper deck. |

Tips to get the most out of your 46' Voyager Class
houseboat
The 46' Voyager is unfortunately in short
supply as there are fewer than 25 of these neat little craft
available for rent on the whole lake. (If you want for 2007,
you better get your reservation in soon!) They are just the right
size for two or three couples or a good sized family. Many
of our guests like the fact that these babies handle quite
well in adverse conditions, making them very popular in the
early Spring when fishing is at its peak, but the wind can
make boat parking a challenge.
The generator on board allows for a generous kitchen complete
with all the comforts of home. These boats make use of energy
saving gas refrigeration - not quite as cold, but runs on
propane instead of 110v. The cabin of this craft is also very
roomy. The boxy shape gives up a bit on outward appearance,
but the interior is wide and roomy. You'll notice that this
boat also has a bit less front and rear deck area - giving
it up for interior space. Again, great for cooler weather
get-aways when the lake is less crowded and even more beautiful.
To get the most out of your Voyager Class Houseboat we suggest
downloading the
General
Operating Manual as well as the
Sport
Class Manual prior to your trip. This way you'll get a
head start on how this craft functions before taking the helm.
Safety first! From all of us at Lake Powell
Vacations, we encourage all of your crew to learn as much
as possible about practicing houseboating safety.
Please visit
Frequently Asked
Houseboat Questions prior to your trip. Lake Powell is
a wonderful place, but it is also rugged and remote. With
the millions of visitors to the lake each year, it is good
to know that there are few serious injuries or worse - but
it does happen. There is also a comprehensive list of
important
phone numbers and contacts available here. We recommend
you print a copy to take with you.

Protect and enjoy Lake Powell. Please boat safely.
