Located on the Utah / Arizona
border, Lake Powell is approximately 6 hours away driving
from Salt Lake City, Utah, 5 to 5 1/2 hours from Phoenix,
Arizona, and less than 5 hours out of Las Vegas. The
lake is approximatley 186 miles long and winds its way
through 96 major canyons. Though the major marinas in
Utah and Arizona are only about 100 miles apart as the
crow flies, driving between them on the road is a good
5 hour trip. Boat Rental Guests: Make sure you
double check which marina you are departing from. Every
year a few parties make this mistake.

One of the great features of this area is that it is
located right in the heart of the Southwest's Grand
Circle. You'll find more National Parks, Monuments,
Recreation Areas and scenic attractions in this 4-state
area than any place in America.

If you are new to the West or are visiting for the

perfect "camp" for short trips to area attractions.
From here you can drive to see Zion National Park -
one of the most popular parks in the west, or take a
short trip by car to the Grand Canyon.
